Reviews
Following a hike I took a friend to Perry's and when she unwrapped her Egg Salad Sandwich she grew animated. "Whoa..." she chuckled, looking at the sheer volume of fillings between her slices of bread. That was the first time I noticed how big their sandwiches actually are but it fully explains why I, not a sandwich lover, like Perry's sandwiches: they're very generous with what goes inside. The place doesn't look like much and if there's others there you'll find yourself asking "are you waiting to order?" as they seemingly have no system to ensure that process is orderly during busy times. But I've never had to wait long and never felt like anyone who came in after me was served before me so no harm done. There's a grill at the back with different menu items not displayed on the menu up front. I've not selected from that menu but have heard favorable things about it. Absolutely nothing about Perry's screams that it's a place you should stop at so it's good to know that they do a great job on sandwiches at a reasonable price (4% discount for cash purchases). If you're headed out to Pt. Reyes via Sir Francis Drake, Perry's is en route and their sandwiches probably taste even better consumed by the sea. Very popular with the 16+ (driving age) high schoolers, you might find your stop quicker if you plan your visit to not coincide with the weekday lunch crowd.
The sandwich was good. It was tasty and light. I prefer a hot sandwich to be at least warm with melted cheese but this hot sandwich was not hot at all. There was minimal meat and veggies. I was surprised how little there was in the sandwich. The ingredients tasted fresh. The staff was friendly.
This small convenience store / deli counter sandwich shop is BOMB! I tried the Breakfast sandwich and the pastrami sandwich, both were delicious!! They have so many great fresh breads to choose, try the Dutch crunch! and the price is lower than any lunch that isn't a fast food chain. This is the spot
I've been working in the area for a little over a year now and this is my go to breakfast and lunch spot in the area. It's really good, from sandwiches, burgers, philly cheese steaks etc. It's a family owned business and they're all really friendly and welcoming. Pop In and try a philly with thousand island, you won't regret it. Who knows, it may become your go to lunch spot as well. It's also one of the more affordable places to eat in the area.
I'm so bummed they closed. Perry's Deli was the only restaurant on Doordash that knew how to make good sandwiches...
